So we're literally at the point now, in game, where the Garleans were just coming about, being able to build things on par with Allag... only now they've been co-opted completely by Fandaniel. Heh. Well, at least their work won't be lost via Cid and the others being able to study it.

I also like how the lore book is like, "If by fate it caught the eye of Solus."

Thanks for filling me in, MrThinker and Moose! I guess if we wanted to get funny with it we could simplify it like so:

Aetherochemistry = Science done with magic.

Magitek = Science trying to surpass/be/achieve similar effect of magic.

It's easy to forget that Alphinaud and Alisaie had theirs, too, in the leadup to Heavensward and Stormblood respectively. Krile is a side story? Dude she is literally the one moving the plot forward now. Recruiting for Estinien, pushing the Sharlayan intrigue, and tossing out the idea to free Hydaelyn from whatever is stopping her from speaking. That is not side story my friend.

G'raha needs better writing though (his creepy nature aside). At this juncture, because he's seen the dark timeline, can be around to say these final days are just as bad/worse then what the dark timeline had and maybe say hey I have the Allagen blood that will let us work the spaceship to go to the moon. In the mean time he'll make googly eyes. Even if he's an anime trope, the writing could be way better.

I think he meant more that her character is explored more in side content. I.e. Warring Triad and Eureka

Perhaps it happened on the day of the Flood, when eyes were elsewhere, and the barriers between planes of existence were at their thinnest.
