I'm still hoping for a merger between the Eden and Void quest teams.

While I'd love that, I don't see it happening since the Void quests require at least one job of each* Role maxed out to 80 so you can do all the Role Quests as well as completion of the Warring Triad storyline to do. Plus, I can't imagine them sending players that out of their way to do them since Role Quests in ShB had a lot of synergy with MSQ with you always returning to the Crystarium only a little after leveling to the next quest unlock.
*minus Ranged Phys which gets lumped in with Melee Phys
Personally I'm completely fine with Norvrandt being shelved for the time being. It's a nice place and we'll no doubt check in with it again in the future, but I'd rather see as much focus as possible placed on the Source during the base expansion of Endwalker. If the role quests are relevant to the expansion's premise of a second coming of the Final Days? Even better!
Speaking of Jobe Role Quests for 6.0
I wonder what will it involve. Considering it is literally the finale for Season 1 storyline and then the beginning of Season 2 storyline in 6.1, I won't be surprised if 6.0 Job Role Quests is meant to be the finale for Season 1 Job storylines so they use all characters from the Class/Job story quests to make the 6.0 Role Quests and have the finale Job Quest we unlock after completing all Job Role Quests be the combine efforts of all Class/Job Story Quest characters with the WoL to defeat a powerful boss.
That way with Class/Job story characters setup in 6.0 Role Quests, SE can continue using them for future Role Quests due to established events in 6.0 Role Quests.

We have reached the end of the YorHa weeklies, right before 5.55, and the introduction of the YorHa epilogue quests. Truly they couldn't have timed this better /s
Weeklies Summary
The weekly quests in of themselves did not add much to the story. The Digsite Chief, being disgusted by his fellow dwarves refusing to move on and start rebuilding, pulls us in to do it instead. As we help him out, some of the more vocal dwarves start to come around seeing us do what we do and help out as well, first giving us tasks, then learning how to do the tasks themselves. While this is happening, Gogg chief Glagg begins to show some signs of multiple personality disorder, getting extremly angry and paranoid one mmoment, to confused and depressed the next, which the digsite chief prevents us from investigating as the problem is something the dwarves should deal with. Unfortunately their attempts to figure out the problem don't work, and by this final weekly, Glagg had disappeared, only to be found deep within the Bunker ruins, where the Seed of Destruction was, and waking up somehow completely back to his old self. The Digsite Chief is just glad things seem to be back to normal, since Komra has now been rebuilt, with the exception of Konogg returning.
Speaking of whom, the dwarf boy has been sending us messages after each weekly. The messages reveal the following: The Seed of Destruction was a machine weapon from another world that came to the First to bring it to ruin. The OG 2B and 9S managed to hack the orb before it left to make copies of themselves to help the natives of the world it was sent to fight back. The real Anogg had indeed died in the landslide we saw in Konogg's memories, but Konogg still values the memories he made with the simulacra. Anogg had a grudge against the world because the siblings were apparently orphans, which was her driving motivation in searching for new weapons and now that she is gone, Konogg wants to 'get revenge' on the world in her place.
TBC in 5.55

While they could use job quest npcs I suspect there will be some sort of theme to the role quests again with new characters. (Similar to how the role quests were all themed for the other warriors of darkness in SHB), and that they might give us level 90 epilogue quests for jobs but that's the most I'd expect of the job npcs.Speaking of Jobe Role Quests for 6.0

Well weekly quests are done so I am guess we just wait for 5.55 now to finish the Nier raid storyline.

Got around to doing the final stretch of the 5.5 YoRHa stuff.
Gotta say, it was a nice touch to omit the greeting and signature from the latest letter. The sharp downturn of Konogg's mental state is fairly sad to me, given how invested I became in the dwarves' story. And I have to wonder what's going to become of him and Glagg next week.
