by they way did they confirm a Allied Beast Tribe quest for Shadowbringers or they are skipping it this time?

I believe an interview did confirm there would be no allied tribe quests for ShB.

I'm kind of hoping Ryne and Gaia will show up somewhere in a sidequest because they vanished after the Eden storyline and are nowhere to be found.

They did mention wanting to have some kind of festival to celebrate the return of the night, so hopefully that will be present as a final send-off to Norvrandt of sorts.

I want this, but the savage unlock afterwards implies it already happened in between the end and then. /cries

I'm still hoping for a merger between the Eden and Void quest teams.

Considering the Eden quests leave open the possibility that at least Gaia could travel between shards, and the Void quests are looking for a way to literally do that body and soul... I should hope so.

This is one of the things that peeves me most.

FINE, maybe don't put quest in... but at least uncap rep to let us grind them even with the others.

I think that 's likely, especially with the Void quests having that open ending.

What if Endwalker's role quests are a continuation of that storyline instead of something on the Source?

While I'd love that, I don't see it happening since the Void quests require at least one job of each* Role maxed out to 80 so you can do all the Role Quests as well as completion of the Warring Triad storyline to do. Plus, I can't imagine them sending players that out of their way to do them since Role Quests in ShB had a lot of synergy with MSQ with you always returning to the Crystarium only a little after leveling to the next quest unlock.

*minus Ranged Phys which gets lumped in with Melee Phys

Personally I'm completely fine with Norvrandt being shelved for the time being. It's a nice place and we'll no doubt check in with it again in the future, but I'd rather see as much focus as possible placed on the Source during the base expansion of Endwalker. If the role quests are relevant to the expansion's premise of a second coming of the Final Days? Even better!
