Yes, it was. It's like that on all of the npcs if you look close enough.

On a side note, I'm reminded as to why I hate having to answer the phone at work. Some creep kept calling and calling us in the bakery at work obviously doing the deed to himself and moaning on the phone to us. Ended up having to hand him off to management to trace his number back to try to block it. Not sure if that'll work, but it's worth a try.

If he ever calls again, I'll remind him of how much smaller compared to my dad's already small ding dong his must truly be to be sexually harassing female workers at a public place.

so I'm all in a half panic half ecstatic mode... so a small catch up... on the 21st last month (6 days before the day that was my younger brother's birthday.... =( bleh) I got an email from the property management company for the house my father and I rent. Turns out they've decided they want to sell the house (Florida housing market is unfortunately a huge over inflated sellers market instead of a buyer's market screwing a lot of us over big time) and we have until the day after the anniversary of my brother's death to move out. The date being August 31st. Make a long story short I've been in a complete anxiety induced panic trying to find a place (renting is out since yeah over 2k for a 2 Bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment and houses is ridiculous). I just ended up pitching a bid for a manufactured home and the seller accepted the price... so I'm now in a flurry to get the loan going for the new house... Oh boy....

Just for an example of how panicked and anxious I've been... a couple of nights ago or so while I was trying to cook dinner... I opened a big can (not huge but atleast a double can size) of green beans, drained the water in the sink and walked over to garbage can. Instead of throwing the lid of the beans away... I tipped the can over and dumped the green beans into the garbage... way to go me

Unfortunately no the lease normally ends August 31 it's just more sucky now due to my brother's passing. In a way though it's a kinda plus too since they're still honoring the lease. Bleh

A major brightside though is the house we're getting is bigger than the one we are currently in

Playing Elden Ring again in preparation for the DLC. It's SO GOOD! Going with a Dark Moon Greatsword build for this run. I still need to use a guide as I never remember where anything is and I want to get ready for the DLC somewhat efficiently.

Is it a hot take to say that Shadow of the Erdtree feels more like a sequel to Elden Ring than Tears of the Kingdom feels to Breath of the Wild?

I wouldn't say it's a hot take. Just a take.

Which it's understandable, since SoTE interacts in 0 ways with the base game(other than like...Ansbach talking about Mohg), so it's safe to do it all after doing almost everything in the base game.

Whereas ToTK is like BoTW kind of never happened, since none of the NPCs seem to recognize Link or reference BoTW much.

But honestly, all SoTE is, is like a cluster of Lore fill-ins. You get a lot of answers out of it, but it also raises a hundred more questions. Typical Fromsoftware DLC, though definitely their largest to date. 10 more major bosses is 2/3rds of how many are in the base game.
