Finally got my submarines to get a Gestahl painting... All that time and effort. I check marketboard to see if getting more is at all profitable...

They're only going for 39k with like 15 on the marketboard. OTL OOF!

Icebox is up next, those are going for 240k. Not exactly money makers anymore, but at least they'll look good in my FC house.

I've got an addiction to the Aesthetician and Jandelaine has probably made a KILLING off of me, with the amount of times I change my hair. So I hope my forum siggy is at least recognizable enough to counteract that lmao.

I dread to think how much I've spent on name changes and fantasia over the years. I'll be buying at least one more fantasia once EW goes live, assuming I need to do so in order to use the face with the legendary Derplander stubble that's being added.

Luckily it coincides with the one I use already, so maybe it can just be tweaked at the aesthetician...

In other news, I'm running Delubrum Reginae once each evening for my relic weapon and keep getting the music stuck in my head.

Phew! I guess my name, my signature, and my stupidity scathing wit are things no one can mistake for anyone else!

Also gosh, I’ve fantasia’d 6 times, at least, and I’ve only been on the game for a YEAR. I can’t even begin to imagine how much those who are picky about their characters and fantasia as much (or more than) I do and have been here for YEARS longer, have spent.

Bahhh, my partner is a blondie, so I may or may not have a biased soft spot for blond hair. (though he hides it with black hair, he has to do his brows up every morning to avoid that “look”, if you know what i mean)

Heck, 9/10 times my own in game hair is some variant of sandy/dark blond/strawberry brown.

End boss music is an absolute banger but… I can’t really bear hearing it more than a few times, because it’s a lot more repetitive than a lot of other boss music ingame - and way more memorable than the ones that ARE as (or more) repetitive. It’s an ear worm!

So used to just looking for my own avatar when I'm scrolling through to find where I left off in a thread, now I'm confusing myself. I think this is the first time Iyami hasn't had red hair since I started back in HW.

I had the smoothest, fastest Delubrum Reginae run yet earlier. I guess it's due to pretty much everybody running essences and not dying, though it was impressive to see bosses fall before they could repeat mechanics. I'm getting more used to playing a tank when raiding, too, which is something I used to try and avoid doing in the past.

I caught one of the big fish on the First, too, which was nice.

Not sure how to feel about MightyMollusk being a cat now. Then again, I just got used to them as Viera a while back. Coulda swore they were a very blue Au Ra for quite a while when I first started coming to the OF regularly. Wonder what they were before that, hmm...

FCmate started making a ton of Aetherial Wheel thingies to make Heat of Battle III for Endwalkers. Kinda cool. Wish it stacked with Squadron EXP manuals though, as those are already 15% and I've got like 107 of them from maintaining my squadrons religiously.

I don't know, showing off your character is kind of a staple of RPGs in general. Whether it's DnD, or FFXIV. People will have portraits of their characters. It's kind of a thing. Character expression in general for a game of this type, is kind of a thing. When I play more regularly, I will take screenshots of my character often to share, usually to show a completed outfit I have made. Anyway, I don't see anything wrong with having your character in your signature.
