am I the only one who's a bit confused by the high amount of seemingly random threads being created? not in a way that's like "players should stop creating threads" but more along the lines of why not use this thread - or a related thread to post it?

Even though we're supposed to search for old threads as to not spam the forum with the same topic over and over, the search function on the forum is pretty bad. That's my opinion anyway. Sometimes you have to dig through pages just to find anything relevant to what you searched for, and even if you do find a thread that is the topic you want to create, it's so old that people will accuse you of necroing to troll/necroing to necro etc.

Basically, not looking, and saying that you couldn't find it in a timely manner is the path of least resistance.

yeah, it's a shame the forum software is pretty archaic and will prob never be changed, having PMs would be pretty swell sometimes if you want to continue a discussion but not do it in an unrelated thread
what I meant or implied was forum sliding, though, basically nonsensical threads being created to 'pollute' the board in addition to the troll threads already being created

also, and the reason for my post, it's funny to see a certain poster only show up when the other one has either hit their daily post limit or probably gotten banned, that they type exactly the same despite supposedly being two different people is just a coincidence

It's probably because I'm still winding down from getting keyed up drinking, but I've been listening to Keane's albums, "Perfect Symmetry," and "Under the Iron Sea."

It's a little eerie just how well they line up with describing Emet-selch. Probably because of his depression motifs and age motifs and pain motifs. Songs like, Again and Again, Perfect Symmetry, Bad Dream, Black Burning Heart, and Is It Any Wonder?

Beyond that, I do wish the OF had PMs a lot, but then I'm sure they'd be abused maliciously. Also, I'd probably drive some folks insane with how often I'd PM them.

I wouldn't mind a PM feature. There are members I wouldn't mind sharing my discord or something, having general conversations, etc. Many features can be abused, it's just a matter of usability, and the moderators being there for when things may get out of hand.

Something they had in ancient times, from what I've heard. I think we get by without them. We've sort of adapted to this marsh, with its salty mini pickles and things.

it‘s crazy how social medias alike of twitter, instagram and such get so much more attention…
the forum needs some better moderation considering the high influx of players we get… but the contrary seems to be the case sadly :/

Do any of you own the art books?
I just pre-ordered the new Shadowbringers one that's coming out but I've been thinking of just grabbing all of them.

But I am wondering if there's a lot of repeated art in the Heavenswards ones for example?
Since there's two of them.
