I might get it, though Tales of Arise, Endwalker and Dying Light 2 are the three games I'm most looking forward to this year.
I was cautiously interested until George R. R. Martin. Not a fan.
Guess I'll just keep waiting for a date for Horizon Forbidden West.

Started replaying FF7R again now that the ps5 patch is released, and I have to say: wow.
I was planning on playing on 4k but after seeing how bloody smooth the game plays at 60 fps I said screw it.
The low-res textures are fixed, the Limit Breaks are just gorgeous, and the Summons and their summoning casting sequences gave me a little bit of a nerdgasm. Increased fidelity across the board.
It's just a great experience right now with the smoothness. And lets not forget that the random NPCs have actual detailed faces now!

I've noticed even with maxed out graphics it still runs ridiculously smooth. It feels like 60 fps even though it's technically 30.Started replaying FF7R again now that the ps5 patch is released, and I have to say: wow.

Yeah, the PS5 version of FF7R is impressive. I keep stopping to admire the amount of detail throughout the game world - especially the lighting effects and the way in which the lights reflects off of puddles and metallic surfaces. I'm not touching the DLC until I get through the main game for a second time. I'm also doing every side quest this time around, too.
I just reached the Collapsed Expressway on my latest playthrough. It didn't look terrible on the PS4, though I can't deny that everything just looks better on the PS5.
didn‘t get to play it as of now, but planing to do the same - go through the whole game and then continue with the DLCYeah, the PS5 version of FF7R is impressive. did they upgrade any of these low rez textures, that people meme‘d about? (like that door resolution meme)
Yeah, they did! I haven't noticed any jarring textures so far. I'm really excited to see what the Shinra HQ looks like. Aside from being a Shinra fanboy, I felt that part was the highlight of the game the first time around.
