Claymore is rly underrated imo, sadly it didn't do well when it first aired it just went under peoples radar until later.
The male protagonist is insanely annoying and his voice actor makes it worse tho, but overall I think it's good ( no clue about Eng dub but it didn't sound great to me from what I heard ).
It also didn't get an actual ending they ran out of source material it kinda just ends.

Anime is kinda all over the place in general.
Imo I had a hard time taking AoT seriously because of how the drama is tuned up to 9999% to a point where it became comedic and I thought it tried a bit too hard to be '' deep '' ( the edge later on was a bit much for me ).
I watched Demon Slayer quite recently too and it's incredible in terms of animation but it has the same issue a lot of other show has of endless monologues and the same repeated sappy flashbacks and people pulling powers out their ass to win the day.

I still prefer it a lot more over Western animation, especially the creativity I dunno why Western animators don't take advantage of it more.
Animation that tries too much to immitate life is usually boring imo and a bit of a waste of the media it just works better when it's exaggerated.
But there's still certain tropes like the monologues and annoying side characters that makes it hard to watch sometimes.

To this day I'm not sure what Instrumentality is, and I've seen Evangelion three times. It abruptly ended after everyone congratulated Shinji. I know there's been multiple OVAs and sequels (I think) but I haven't watched any of them.

yeah it gets really complex towards the end and i think it could have used a much more simplistic ending then what abstracts they tried to convey - this is at least where elfenlied shines
how i understood instrumentality in terms of evangelion it'd be probably just be humanity's evolution to a hivemind
but who knows xD

I also haven't kept up with anime at all - I'm pretty picky when it comes to trying to watch anime, but I loved Monster (2004). Even though the protag was nothing short of Jesus himself, the plot, characters, the slight "realism" to it is great. It was a breath of fresh air, super bummed I haven't found anything else like it.

I'm starting to think the bakery floor at my job is trying to kill me. Worked almost 20 hours this past weekend because of high school graduation and yesterday I realized my ankles had swollen up to about 3 times their normal size. Worked again today and they swelled again.

I've never had that kind of issue at any other store I've worked at except this one. I don't like this *whines*

There's a couple of them definitely, but they didn't feel like they were just showing me the same thing or were completely pointless.
The flashbacks in Demon Slayer were driving me insane because it was basically the same thing on repeat and lasted way too long, like a super extended monologue.
And in AoT it basically became a meme how it was a death flag and random characters got pointless flashback backstories just to make you '' extra sad '' when they died it felt cheap.

In Claymore the flashbacks that comes to mind is just backstory for the main protagonist and stuff actually happens, they're not just stuck in the same loop.
I remember it being full episodes dedicated to it too, they could as well have been episodes of a prequel.
