My 4 month old DualSense is drifting like mad and has become virtually unusable. A $70 dollar controller that stops working in 4 months. My old XBONE controller lasted for 5 years. I'm so pissed off right now.

Controllers just be like that sometimes. Sometimes it's the port it's plugged into causing the problem too. I went through like 6 PS4 controllers over the course of 5 years. Haven't had to replace a PS5 controller yet.

With all the Intel drama going on. Decided to slap a contact frame on my sons i5 12400f just as precaution. I know his does not have the current issues, but it got me thinking about the ihs on it possibily warping.

The 12th gen is not affected by this issue. Only the 13th and 14th gens are.

Thank you I know. Put the contact frame in place for cooling reasons. Not really needed as only i9's have the issue of the ihs warping still cooler temps are always a plus.

So an update on my housing situation... I'm waiting now on the closing docs for the new home my dad and I are buying it should be all done by next week so we can start moving in... boy has it been stressful.

I had two XBOX SERIES controllers die on me in less than a year. One's L Bumper just decided to break, and the other one's power unit got messed up. The controller got really warm near the X button and then never went on again.
Maybe I'm just cursed with plainly awful luck lol

Just bought a pedal-assist electric bike for my work commute. Honestly, way more fun than Ubering or using public transport.

Got a letter saying that my state is expanding benefits for seniors ages 62 and up and I may qualify. Which, uh, great news and all, but I'm not even forty yet. I know I'm getting old, stop rubbing it in.

Soooo one last final update on the house situation before I lose access to the forums for cancelling my sub... We closed today on the place and we can start moving in soon.. it kinda sucks that I'm not exactly relieved that it's done and am still in a panic but... I'm also really tired since i only got to sleep today from about 2pm until 7pm due to the closing happening today blah... but at least my dad and I have a house to live in after the month is out... Wish me luck for staying awake tonight though while I work. I think i may need it.
