So just got my new computer yesterday, got a bunch of stuff installing right now. Now the fun part is getting my old discord settings back on it and several other things. I sure do feel quite light in the wallet too.

Edit: fantastic servers, SE. Having uploaded all of my hotbars to your servers resulted in not a single hotbar/hotkey configuration actually correctly downloading and working. Guess I'll be spending my off day reconfiguring all of the stuff that should've been saved to your servers instead of enjoying my day off from work.

You can copy the character configuration from your old computer to the new one.

You can access it. It is under \Documents\My Games. Just copy the whole "Final Fantasy XIV - A Realm Reborn"-folder to your new computer into the same location. And everything will be restored. I have done it on my new computer.

I love it when my computer hides stuff I want to access. This is what I get for getting a new comp plus transferring files over so my mom has an actual usable computer. Ended up finding it in an odd location (why the heck did it put it into my D drive when I have 14 on my C drive is beyond me) and getting it transferred correctly.

I will never understand as to why SE made their in-game/client tools not that helpful.

Now I get to finish transferring files over and trying to figure out as to why Discord has connected itself to my speaker volume when it wasn't previously.

I plan to get a new computer soon because my current one will likely explode if I were to play dawntrail on it in 3 months- Even though this is not directed at me I appreciate the information!
I have made so so many settings and HUD modifications, it would take me a lot of time just to get back to how it was.
