    So now I watched some video that claims that "because of genetic engineering, fresh fruit now has too much sugar and it can be risky for health so zoos don't give it to animals anymore"

    Fucking.

    Many fruits and vegetables have been bio engineered to make them more resistant to many pests and weather conditions. In the process they have engineered the flavor out of them.
