The spider wasn't so bad to me, but Balteus ripped my face off for a while.

And that's the funny thing for me, Balteus only took me about 15-20 minutes to beat... the difficulty is really person to person.

I've not played Assassins Creed in ages...and I knew they took a turn in how it played but there are Spider Boss Fights?

Armored Core came out a long time before Assassin's Creed, so I think they have the OG use of AC ;P

Yeah, the chapter 2 boss is a big spider looking thing. You can also use quad-pedal legs on your own mech too.

Unfortunately you don't get flamethrowers till later, but lasers are an option. I have become a big fan of the "songbirds" to be honest, like just about everyone else I imagine.

I'm super late to the party in leveling all my alt combat jobs to 50, (like a decade), but squadrons with all members having offensive tactics 5 is so much better for under 60 leveling compared to duty support. Sure, I'm doing totorok, brayfloks, and the vigil a million times, but it's pretty dang fast per run! They can't do anything fancy, but I don't think they can die lol. I just put on some music on youtube and i'm grinding away.

Well, just got the Bad Ending of Armored Core 6.

Killed Rusty and Ayre, the two friendliest characters; wiped out an entire sentient species that only wanted to help and cooperate; and set fire to the entire Rubicon star system, rendering the planet forever uninhabitable. And then disappeared into the flames, to be immortalized as the monster who triggered the Fires of Raven.

Time for New Game Plus. Once I can feel my hands again. Maybe not the ideal game to play after a long day of pointing steel tubes.
