r/natureismetalSo for a few years now we've been feeding the local wildlife outside our house and lately we've been getting little bunnies hopping about. This has also attracted some other birds of prey, like red-tail hawks.
And up close, those hawks are actually big. Wanna know how I found this out?
One of said red-tail hawks caught one of the bunnies we were feeding. I went out to see if it was one of the squirrels or another bird just now. No, it was one of the bunnies. The hawk went completely metal on him too by taking the head off and discarding it to the side. I got close enough to it to see it was almost knee-height with me, and I'm 5'6".
Was neat and disgusting at the same time. Now I get to wonder if the corpse it'll leave behind will attract other scavengers.
One of many subreddits I'm on. I mentioned once watching a chimp eating a baby deer while it was still alive. Found it on there.
I'll never forget it even though I wish I could.
I think it was a chimp. Some details are fuzzy.
Killed the Flame Gleeok on the bridge today in Tears of the Kingdom. It took some doing. Especially when it flew up into the sky. No problem. Attach keese wings to arrows every single shot and sprint out the way of the mega big breath attacks. That's for the two of my horses you killed, you son of a bitch!
Still no paraglider in this playthrough. Weird. Using fairies to enter the chasms. Finally loading up on battery power! Two major temples down, two or so or more to go!
There's a ton of stuff to find and do in this game!

"I thought that my invincible power would hold the world captive, leaving me in a freedom undisturbed. Thus night and day I worked at the chain with huge fires and cruel hard strokes. When at last the work was done and the links were complete and unbreakable, I found that it held me in its grip." - Rabindranath Tagore
I think it's very cool how you can put a steering stick on pretty much anything in Tears of the Kingdom and it will control intuitively no matter what. I don't know much about programming, but the game seems extremely impressive on a technical level.
You're a madman Vyrerus. Keep going.Killed the Flame Gleeok on the bridge today in Tears of the Kingdom. It took some doing. Especially when it flew up into the sky. No problem. I love hearing about people playing games completely opposite to how they are intended. No, I don't mean playing with their feet or an otamatone. totk without a paraglider? That's what i'm talking about.
My fiancée was joking cause she had problems with it, "I can't drive stick."

Clearly, if they intended us to need the paraglider, they woulda given it to us in the tutorial segment. >:P
The first shrine I completed right out of the tutorial was, "A Bouncy Device." by the way. And yes, I completed it with 4 hearts and no paraglider.
Some shrines literally do be like, "Basically to enter my puzzle you gotta paraglide bro." And I say to myself, "Ah, well, you're still nice as a warp point option."

Tried P9S tonight with the static. Within a full lockout, we managed to make it to the halfway point consistently, and we were completely blind. Tomorrow we'll have looked at a guide, so we're thinking we may have this fight down by the end of the week. We only raid 3 days for 2 hours each day, and have had difficulties with previous fights before. The fact we're having no difficulty (yet) says a lot about the fight...and we're also having a blast, this one is actually pretty fun.
