I abuse the barrel exploit and completely clean out Duskmoon Tower of the items without the Moonbeam Gems. Getting good gear that early makes the rest of the game trivial. Can even enter Hard Mode at that point to REALLY get the danger going...and double Ring of Perseverance makes getting Discipline an absolute joke.

That and AFK Discipline farming on guards during that one point. Good way to get a lot of Discipline without raising level too high.

Man DD is so easy to break. One of the bows from Duskmoon Tower on you along with the Trophy Jacket, have a mage/sorcerer pawn with the Adept's Robe, and basically laugh your way the rest of the game. "Oh no I'm hurt...good thing I have infinite regen via my pawn going here."
