I like the old black and white horror movies. Nothing current, though. It's like Hollywood decided the best way to scare audiences was just to throw buckets of blood at the screen. Story and suspense seem to be an afterthought.

Yes, he was. He was an amazing actor and a true gentleman.

There were more masters of horror in the past. I suspect it had something to do with having a solid grounding in black and white film. In my humble opinion, Hitchcock has never been matched by any of the directors of today.
