Wow! I mean seriously; if I booked with the wrong credit card; that's on me; I'm super careful about that sort of stuff.Very much suppressing the urge to tell guests who screwed up to piss off today. Oh, your stay is on the wrong credit card? Well, you should have given us the right card when you checked in.
I think the thing I hate most about working in the hospitality industry is that we are basically enforced to allow people to be irresponsible jerks.
It's made even worse by the fact that so many of our guests are booked through third parties, either travel agencies or travel agents or corporate booking agents. Agents screw up. Guests blame us. Then we have to try to break a shoe off in the agents' asses, but usually they have some sort of weaselry that lets them shut us down and eat the loss.
