All Chapter 2 stories complete on Octopath Traveler. Tomorrow I start on the Chapter 3 stories...and make my rounds collecting all of the OP Advanced Jobs. Especially since my main squad is in their mid 50s and all the other characters are level 30. I'll only need the main team to win these babies after all.

How could this fall to page 3 on GD?

I broke down and bought a PS5 and kind of hate myself for it. FF7 Remake feels like it's going to be a fun play, though I am only about 5 seconds into the game as I had to go to work...

FF7R is quite a ride. Personally, I enjoyed it, though I admittedly enjoyed Intergrade more than the base game.

Through Abyssea in FFXI again in my LP.

Really starting to come to terms with just how much item level breaks XI, heh. Just standing there casually while Shinryu uses Protostar five times in a row. Shrug and use a Lucid Potion I.

Finally nearing the end of Octopath Traveler (or at least to where I need to grind like a madman). Completed Olberic, Cyrus, and Ophilia's storylines, and I turned it off for the night during Tressa's. Tomorrow will likely be me finishing up the stories completely and then grinding my heart out until everybody is 99. Because I'm not going against the True Final boss (aka superboss) without everybody maxed out.

Very much suppressing the urge to tell guests who screwed up to piss off today. Oh, your stay is on the wrong credit card? Well, you should have given us the right card when you checked in.

I think the thing I hate most about working in the hospitality industry is that we are basically enforced to allow people to be irresponsible jerks.

It's made even worse by the fact that so many of our guests are booked through third parties, either travel agencies or travel agents or corporate booking agents. Agents screw up. Guests blame us. Then we have to try to break a shoe off in the agents' asses, but usually they have some sort of weaselry that lets them shut us down and eat the loss.

Welp, today's been a fun day so far. Local restaurants systems have been down so they couldn't take orders, everybody is mowing at the same time today like they're trying to kill me (I have pollen allergies), and mom fell down while I was in the bathroom (could hear through the bathroom wall). Got her back up, and nothing seems to be broken.

Phew, sorry about your mom falling down. That's a daily worry for me now with my dad, so that's super relatable to me. Glad she's OK.

My fiancée's grandma is in the hospital again. Has an infection from surgery from a couple weeks ago.

Wish my older family members and hers as well would stop getting hurt for a month.

Mom falling down has happened once before, and nobody heard her for 2 hours (it was at a part of the house that cannot be heard from the front. To say it has made me terrified of leaving mom home alone for longer than 30 minutes is an understatement. Hell, next month is the first time I'm going on vacation in over 2 years because of it.
