Today I realized just how old I am when I was having a conversation with a young woman at work.

She had never heard of car windows you had to manually roll down, neither had she heard of cassette tapes or portable ones from the 80s and 90s.

She had also never heard of the time gas was $1 a gallon in Florida one time.

I remember just after 9/11 that it went down to 99 cents a gallon. And yet people want to argue with me ( like my family did) and if you're old so am I lol though next month I am turning 42..

I also wish gas would go back down to $1.89 a gallon like it used to be

The best part of living in a third world country is that I know about these now-antiquated things despite being almost 24. We're always some steps behind.
