Sometimes it seems like a company is trying to self-destruct. This is one such time and one such company. I don't even play D&D, and I'm not even all that familiar with the company, and even I know this isn't going to end well.PSA: Wizards of the Coast is planning to deauthorize Dungeons and Dragons' Open Game License in favor of a much more restrictive one that is all but overtly predatory. It will allow them to collect royalties on third party content, shut down any third party product they disapprove of, and use third party content without compensating or accrediting third party content creators (including noncommercial works).
All of which will effectively destroy what allowed the game to become as popular as it has.
Nerds rise up!
