My wife works at dermitology clinc as a scheduler, I have lost track of how many stories she has told me about patients calling in trying to get their way.

Never done scheduling, but I can only imagine that is a nightmare especially in any medical field.

Had a roommate that worked with scheduling in the medical field...she had to fire a patient nearly every other day. Well they call it "firing"...I call it "banned".

Actually I like "firing" more.

I've heard some crazy stories from that field. But "firing" is certainly a new one.

I'm a mechanic, so I have seen some stuff. I had a guy come in once complaining about how his vehicle was "chugging". Turns out he had a whole Christmas tree wrapped around his drive train. Lights, garland, wiring, and all. Just some things you don't question.

My wife has had few patient or family/friends of patients ask for things that are against Hippa or other medical laws. Every time she had to explain Can't do that and why.
