Anti-woke crowd upset that there's a female lead and how the first episode basically ended with her getting engaged to the other female lead (meaning they're upset because LGBT exists).
Experience tells me that the people who complain that certain art forms and media are "suddenly political" are the kind that didn't have the brains to figure out what the story was telling them and then got mad when it stopped being subtle. One thing is disliking political discourse and not engaging in it, another thing is being blind. At that point I just treat it as dumbspeak for "I'm incapable of reading between the lines/understand metaphors" and move on.Especially the ones who seem to think that suddenly this makes Gundam political. Which tells me that they've probably never actually paid attention to a non-Build Gundam series before. Even G Gundam had anti-war tones as part of its premise, and it's basically giant robot Street Fighter.
Like the people who insist Akira and Ghost in the Shell aren't political whatsoever.
It's just easier for these people to dismiss what they don't like as "political". It's great because they can fit whatever they want under it without telling exactly what they mean.Experience tells me that the people who complain that certain art forms and media are "suddenly political" are the kind that didn't have the brains to figure out what the story was telling them and then got mad when it stopped being subtle. What do you mean finally? I've been popping boners for Elvaan ladies since 2003.https://luckybancho.ldblog.jp/wsurvey_en.htm
But they play potatoes way more often than Elezen. Does it mean, all Lalafell players are weebs?
Finally, FINALLY you admit it!
Lol, i do not even know how to be a weeb. Because i do not have a clue about japanese stuff. xD
Cheers

"I thought that my invincible power would hold the world captive, leaving me in a freedom undisturbed. Thus night and day I worked at the chain with huge fires and cruel hard strokes. When at last the work was done and the links were complete and unbreakable, I found that it held me in its grip." - Rabindranath Tagore
Whenever life gets hard, remember this, my friends:
Shoot for the moon.
Stab at the sun.
Smother the stars in everlasting darkness.
Space started this. Let's finish it.
Me waiting for Witch From Mercury to get darker.
Episode 5: *proceeds to start getting pretty damned dark*
Me: ...I did not foresee this so early.
People think Square's going to announce Parasite Eve 4...
I'll need ibuprofen if they do...
It's because of the name, Symbiogenesis. It means “the merging of two separate organisms to form a single new organism.” Since they've wanted to do another Parasite Eve game but can't because of the rights to the name, then it makes sense to reboot the original with a brand new name.
I'd be down for a remake. I hope to make a new busted weapon that one shots everything again.
I'll be honest, I want them to keep whatever they can without getting in trouble, and only change what is needed. If they can keep the majority of the story the same (New York City, Aya Brea, being from within trying to take over), I'll be mostly okay. Though I suspect with how things are these days, it'll likely be an ARPG on the lines of FF7R. Which...actually might work better for only controlling a single character.
