Been looking for something to kill some time with during downtime, as I've kind of hit the point again where there isn't much I want to do in FFXIV actively. Downloaded GW2 again like three weeks ago (logging in for log-in rewards), and bought an outfit (on sale) so I could actually play the game on a new mesmer I made like three years ago to play with a friend who ended up thinking the game was boring. Yes, I have to have a character I think looks decent to be playable. I could play ESO, but I'd literally have to buy all the expansions, and I don't really feel like that at full price (already done the Cadwell thing and have no interest in doing it again). I pretty much have only played ESO for story, and nothing else. The gameplay is awful, in my opinion.

All I've been doing in FFXIV lately is logging in to set things to sell in IS. Last night I didn't feel like it so I just made it a rest day. I do do the occasional roulette so I can get a little bit of gil (maybe commendations too) so I can buy dyes, also so I can cap out on the weekly tomes. I only plan on having my WHM geared adequately for current content at any given time. When the relic weapons come out I will probably set up my RDM again. Since I got my PvP mount I don't even do CC anymore.

Heck no! My characters are Sylvari!

Sylvari is pretty much the only race I'd want to play in it. In that game, it's also mandatory to use a makeover kit with every character. Luckily, I literally bought one the day of making this character three years ago. Not that I don't have another one unused.. Mesmer is fun, and I definitely like the combat more than ESO.

GW2 was among my first mmorpgs, but I never really got into it, so it's been fairly enjoyable as a time waster during the downtime here in FFXIV, and I have been really liking the completionism aspect. This new character is definitely a new main in it, since I haven't played my other Sylvari (necromancer) in like.. 7 years..
