I'm cautiously optimistic. Shadow Hearts is one of my favourite games to this day - particularly because it had meaningful, lasting consequences, darker aesthetics, unsettling horror and a varied cast. The ability for the main character to take on monster forms was a neat touch as well especially in a genre that has a weird obsession with light. Extra points for being set in the real world and being one of the few JRPGs to date that takes the cast not only across parts of Europe but specifically the UK.

With that said, I'm a little wary of throwing money at projects so I'll let other people handle that part.

Shadow Hearts is one of my favorites as well. It was dark, horror-esque while also having its own lighthearted moments from time to time, with a very unique battle system using the Judgement Ring and Sanity Points. I also like how the franchise threw a curveball by having bad endings of previous games as canon. That's a gutsy move, and one that paid off well.
