Also, well, because my game time right now is going into other games, like FFXIV since the patch, etc..
The levelling for sure is kind of a marathon unless you play a structured build that doesn't need too much investment in gear to play and clear the area. Same goes for early maps. Since I'm a beginner I try to follow strict detailed guides - and I played with somebody so that made it.bearable.

It's little things quests and touches like that has really endeared Grim Dawn to me. You should at least check it out and pick it up when it's on sale if you like those types of games!
I bought Grim Dawn, yeah. Along with all the expansions. Then I watched a friend play and... it looked incredibly slow in the first half. The one thing I give credit to PoE for is the fact that you can play a levelling build with actual rotations and structure to it from the get-go. D3's levelling doesn't allow for that for example, and it looked like Grim Dawn doesn't either. Maybe I'm wrong, and I'm definitely not judging the game to be bad or anything. It's just the impressions I got from watching someone else play. The touches do sound great though.

Another problem, I installed it once and it refused to go past a black screen. No clue why.
