"Flamin' Hot Mountain Dew"? You mean like Flamin' Hot Cheetos or whatever? I remember back in California, kids loved those. But as a drink? What are people even thinking?

Yes, they made a "Flamin' Hot" Mountain Dew. I don't know how it tastes, because that's too out there even for me. How cayenne pepper and citrus are supposed to mix, I have no idea.

The vast proliferation of Mtn Dew (yes, that's what it's officially called now) flavors irks me.

I tried it. It's Code Red with the ever slightest aftertaste of Flammin Hot Cheetos.

Fluid like water. Smooth like silk. Pepperoni like pizza.

It wasn't terrible. Just not something I'd actively look for to get. However the Cheetos Mac and Cheese is literally that. Mac and Cheese that tastes like cheetos. I picked it up and some lady next to me said her son absolutely loves eating those and I was like "Yeah kids do like to eat weird things sometimes". She then tells me her kid is my age...I'm mid 30s.

I almost on instinct just put it right back on the shelve...but I was already committed to at least trying it out on morbid curiosity.

    Never again.
