The Burger King near one of the stores I work at has just straight up given up on everything to the degree that is it downright FASCINATING. Here's how my last visit went down...
So on my lunch break I head inside and no one is at the counter but I'm a patient person so I just stand there and wait. Eventually I see some people and we make eye contact but they they just disappear again. Still fine...I am patient. A lady comes in behind me and I noticed she has her food so I assumed drive in order that went wrong. After about 3 minutes she asks if I ordered yet in which I say "Not yet". At this point she steps in front of me and yells for service in the front.
So eventually a dude wonders up and is like "What is it?" and she says her order was done wrong as if they got someone elses order wrong. They say they will remake it but then the woman says they need to take care of me first because I've been waiting ( Very nice of her ). They take my order and the order of a 3rd person. The drive in lady leaves but comes back yet again before I get mine and they got it completely wrong again. Then the lady who was behind me also noticed her order was just missing items completely.
I finally get my order but my lunch is almost over so I just eat the fries to hold me over so I can have the burger later. There was really rude woman behind the register at one point and was not caring about anything even more so then the others. After the 3rd screw up from the Drive in lady she just asks for the manager...who happened to be the rude woman. She has them make the order again and then throws the bag at Drive in lady while saying "here you go" and walks off.
In the 20 minutes I was there they managed to get every order wrong. Hey I work in customer service...maybe it was the customers lying or something? Nah. They got mine wrong too. I just had to laugh at how obsurd the whole thing was.
