I watch, or rather listen to Asmongold on occasion. Mostly just for background noise, and this really only happened after he got into FFXIV last year. I get his videos in my YouTube recommended. Well, I had gotten recommended videos of him way back in like Legion or something, but I never really watched him at all. Personally, I prefer the react content. I don't watch anything with him playing games. I don't really know why I really watch him in the first place, maybe just out of morbid curiosity at times, or boredom. Just something to have on while I afk in the gold saucer or something like that.

I think the fact that so much of it was spent on repeated react content he has already covered a billion times didn't help either.
I dunno how much more about Diablo Immortal or WoW drama I can take lol.

It was like two hours of arguing with McConnel and chat about whether it's right or wrong to pre-order and the mount from the pre-order too.
I've definitely found myself just tuning out from his stream recently and this whole drama with FFXIV and how he acted about it kinda just made me feel like I am kinda just done.
I was really excited for him to stream FFXIV again, I actually enjoyed the Extreme trials a lot there was a ton of great moments.
But I kinda just lost all interest tbh it doesn't feel like a fun event anymore and I cba to deal with 6 hour intros for 1-1½ hour of gameplay.

It's fine if that's what he wants to do but imma just skip then.
I just rly don't like the react meta but it can't be denied that it's super popular.
I mean remember the '' watch parties '' on Twitch lol?
Where people just watched entire seasons of shows and movies etc.
It's pretty shameless.

Yeah, I actually don't mind that kind of stuff, it's either that or I listen to like ASMR or something, and BY THE WAY I completely disagree with him on ASMR. I get that some people do make it for the reasons he says, but it's not all that, but WHATEVER. Yes, I do unironically watch and listen to ASMR. Have done so for just about every single day, for the past six years.

When I was playing PvP a lot in the past week, I listened to a lot of that actually. The Diablo Immortal stuff, etc. Lol on that one. I didn't mind any of it. I actually thought the trial coverage was kind of fun. I couldn't care less about him playing FFXIV. I have barely watched ANY of his FFXIV content. Literally none of it interests me, but then again I don't watch any FFXIV content of any kind either. From what I have seen, to me, it never really seemed like he wanted to play FFXIV so soon. Well, maybe just to have his character caught up, but I don't think he really, personally, wanted to play it again yet. It seemed more like he was doing it out of an obligation to a portion of his viewerbase than anything else.

Europe is out of shape lately. I have Polish friends bearing 30+ degrees weather - something usual for me - and close friend in Estonia who's been begging for a storm all week. Seems he finally got his wish today with seemingly imminent rain... the day he has a night shift. Bless his heart.
