I know most people don't care about this, but I am legit becoming really frustrated by how any feminine curves are just totally verboten in basically any game that isn't cartoony.
I am not buying Diablo 4 cuz Blizzard, I just don't buy any of their games anymore they've done absolutely nothing to even so much as hint that they're improving.
Seeing all of the hype for it is honestly a bit irritating and sad because it's just a reminder of how easily fooled people are and how quickly they forget especially with their new hiring recruitment for the game which is heavily hinting on P2W.
Like please just stop falling for it over and over again... Do people never learn not to trust trailers and marketing?
Blizzard has only gotten WORSE with time....

But yeah...
With male characters you get all kinds of different body types and exaggerations both for playable characters and demons and monsters etc.
For female characters your choice is skinny walkway model or steroid muscle mountain ( Barbarian ).
Is it that much to ask for at least one character that actually looks like she has any more feminine curves at all?
Why can't the Sorceress have a bit more pronounced hips and chest? She's identical to the Rogue only that the Rogue has a toned texture on top and an even flatter chest rofl.
( Before people start pointing to athletes, women who are professional athletes are still more varied because a lot of this is genetics not training... ).
Even the freaking Succubus are so weirdly restrained and uh, modest.
Why is some rando male demon less modest than a Succubus xD, it feels so inorganic and out of character? It was never an issue in past Diablo games... Even Lilith herself has the SAME body type as the Sorceress and the rest.

It's especially annoying with their bragging about player choice and customization.
It feels like they have one female body model that is just shared in the whole industry, it's just so annoying especially with all the talk going around about diversity and inclusion etc, bullshit.

But yeah some venting I guess, I am just tired of how male characters get to be a lot more expressive.
It's like the reverse issue with feminine fashion vs masculine fashion.
With feminine fashion being way more varied and exciting, only in this case it's the opposite.
It's not even '' realisitc '' to begin with either because people irl are more varied than this.

Pay to win becoming more mainstream outside of mobile? Yeah, I think it will only get worse. Pay to win becoming mainstream on PC/console games will probably be what players will have to deal with through the 2020s.. I see it only getting worse from here until laws are put in place in countries like the US, and more in EU. It's being shown more and more that people are willing to accept it, and that just means everyone will start copying these models going forward. Just like how every game has to have season passes and everything now.

Diablo 4 will only have cosmetic items on its cash shop!" I don't believe them at all, but you can tell they are being hammered when they have to come out and make a statement. Their usual reaction is to hide until the problem goes away.

Its a PS store leak but this and Digimon Survive might just sate my hunger for new trpg games.

Is there an actual release date for Digimon Survive yet? It's been getting delayed for a while now.

They didn't say that actually. They said it would be "anchored around" cosmetic items. I don't keep super up to date with Blizzard news, but I did see a bit of Asmongold going over this. Like he said, "anchored around" isn't an exclusionary statement. The backlash from Diablo Immortal has put Blizzard on blast, but people are still playing it, and still paying large amounts of money for it. From what I've heard, it is quite highly rated on mobile as well.

That is true. You are probably right on their intent here. Wording is everything.

I saw a bit of the Diablo Immortal director or something even saying "well you can't buy gear with money" or something like that. Now I haven't played it, so I'm not for sure, but from what I have heard the statement is technically true. Wording is definitely everything. Besides, even if they did say it would only have cosmetics we have seen companies just outright go back on the statement a few months later.

To add, from what I have seen, Blizzard just seems to like to be VERY technical with all their wording. Especially with a lot of what I have seen from Diablo Immortal. It definitely makes Dragonflight, and Diablo 4 suspect.
