Pickles on burgers is great, I dunno why people hate it so much.

Debating if I want to take the trip to Anime Boston on Saturday. Could be fun, but will be expensive. And today's the last day to preregister online.
Forgot to log into FFXIV for two weeks again, so couldn't post. Not that there is or was much to post about in the first place.
Been playing Pathfinder WoTR now, never finished Kingmaker. Very difficult for me to make a character in the game. I have about 40+ hours in the game logged on Steam solely from me mostly being tabbed out searching for proper portraits (a large portion of my total playtime). I have gotten really bothered by something that should be cool: mythic paths. Now I have to attempt to closely match a character that I think would look proper in game, and semi-match the mythic portraits as well as the base portraits. Sometimes I wish I could do art.
Aside from that, the difficulty is fairly annoying. I'd say it's even worse that Kingmaker, in the sense that you have to have prior knowledge of many of the encounters in the game, otherwise they can be literally impossible to complete. You have to know what and who you have to bring to these encounters (in higher difficulties) beforehand. You can always lower the difficulty, sure, but it trivializes the game in it's entirety. First character I ended up deleting, and my build wasn't even bad, I just didn't want to backtrack as much as I needed to for some of these encounters, you also waste a lot of in-game time having to backtrack. Wasting days is probably worse in Kingmaker than this game however. You are required to literally cheese the game in many instances, to actually overcome much of the difficulty.

Do it! Anime Boston is always a blast. I say that as a proud BostonianPlus, the restaurants around the convention center are good when you get hungry.
Eh, got caught up watching a movie and forgot about it. Maybe I'll aim for Connecticon in July instead. Gives me more time to save up to buy something stupid.
We have Distant Worlds over at Michigan in July, been debating on whether or not to make the trip lol. The seat prices are decently cheap.. but also, the drive is a bit of a snoozefest..
I'd say it's worth it. I went to Distant Worlds in London back in 2017 and it was an incredible experience. They played the opera scene from FF6 which was definitely the highlight of the show for me. I'd recommend people strive to go at least once if they're even a passing enthusiast of Final Fantasy music.
I'd like to go again but the trip to London from Scotland is annoying. Apparently Distant Worlds came to Scotland once so I'm hoping they'll consider doing so again as that eliminates the extra annoyance of booking a hotel room...
I've been to the Boston Distant Worlds! I was pleasantly surprised by the performances, and we even had the singer (her name escapes me right now) for Answers/Dragonsong as well, which really elevated the experience for me.I'd say it's worth it. I'd like to go again as well, I'm just a lazy sport when it comes to driving.
I went to the Kingdom Hearts concert that they had held before Distant Worlds, now THAT was a total disappointment lol.
Crossing my fingers for you that they'll come back in Scotland for ya! The pain is always in the travel.
