It's cool to see some different food from Japan I've never seen before.
I think with a lot of the non-European countries and outside of the US people have a tendency to sorta have a very white-washed view of food in more '' exotic '' countries.
When people think of India they think of the most conventional food for foreigners like curry, if they actually went to India tho they'd realize it's not like that at all lol ( especially the street food ) their cuisine is much wider than spicy chicken.
It's the same with Japan, Japan has a ton of food that is fairly common there that most foreigners would find nasty.

Whether it's good or bad examples I like seeing food you don't see often and get a deeper and more realistic view of their food.
In Europe and America food is so much of a melting pot I think people are both overly critical of it ( especially with Europe, srsly ppl are so ignorant even about their own cuisine lol. Lots of stuff they love that is native to their country and they don't even realize it ), and also have an overly glamorized view of it in other countries.

There's another channel I rly like revolving around this too called '' best ever food review '', he travels around the world outside of Europe and the US and actually gets a more legit experience with their food.
He kinda needs to be polite and respectful so he kinda just '' loves '' everything lol, but I like that you get a more realistic and less glamorized view of what people actually eat.
I feel like everytime I watch his videos I see and learn something new.

Bandai opened another Gunpla factory to catch up to demand. The upside is that a bunch of stuff on my want list got reprinted and I have a backlog again! The downside is that a bunch of stuff on my want list got reprinted and I have a backlog again.

I used to paint 40k figures when I was a kid and played it a little bit, it's too bad how expensive it is tho and it seems to only have gotten more expensive with time.
I was lucky to have parents and especially grand parents on my dads side who were willing to buy it for me, I guess they just liked that it was something different than video games lol.
But my grand mother in particular is like the kindest person on the planet and would just buy whatever 40k figures I wanted ( helps they're fairly well off too ).

I am a bit sad that Fantasy was basically dropped because I rly have no interest in Age of Sigmar but as an adult I kinda wanted to get into the Fantasy figures especially after I started playing Total War Warhammer which I have probably well over 2k hours in.

I started playing Path of Exile. Somewhat salty that a friend got carried and spoonfed everything about the game by his pals for hours and hours, but none of them are too willing to help me. Game feels like a mess, although it does have something to it that makes you want to push on. I'm still at Act 1 though so I'm little more than a foetus ATM.

This is great news! I've recently been buying from 3rd party people to try to fill in my wish list backlog. Got burned trying to get a reasonably priced PG 00 Gundam Seven Sword. Maybe this will alleviate that problem...

I started playing Path of Exile. Somewhat salty that a friend got carried and spoonfed everything about the game by his pals for hours and hours, but none of them are too willing to help me. Game feels like a mess, although it does have something to it that makes you want to push on. I'm still at Act 1 though so I'm little more than a foetus ATM.

I loved the lore and environments and a lot of the creature designs in PoE, but the character you play was my least favorite thing.
It felt too much like you were running around wearing kitchen items and the animations weren't very good they felt outdated.

It also turned too much into a ridiculous screen vomit, you basically build your characters so that you can '' not '' play the game and just blow everything up automatically in your wake lol.
Gameplay-wise I actually enjoyed Diablo 3 way more.
The power creep just didn't reach to the insane levels as in PoE where you're basically not even playing the game anymore.
