    You bring up a good point! SE's current direction lately just makes me a bit paranoid, I think. Nothing is immune to greed after all, and SE has been on a trend of flops and monetization with their other titles. While I can't see them dropping support I can see them sucking the life out of the game.

    Honestly, they've been doing it for years. It has been pretty clear to me over the years that FF XIV tends to suffer more than usual when SE has other big projects they're working on.
