This is FFXIV related but still, Mikepreachwow's FC put together a theatre piece of his journey through ARR it's pretty incredible what they managed to do really shows what creative people can accomplish in FFXIV.

I rly think a lot of people just looked up stuff to use on Google/ Youtube and they never got the actual experience of having to actually fight the bosses and don't know exactly how bad it gets.
I don't think that just because something is in a game or can be done that it means it's good either or necessarily intended.
Rivers of Blood's Bleed build up ignoring i-frames in PvP I don't think is intended, people who use it will defend it tho by saying that they're just using what's there so it's not a big deal and it's fine it's just part of the game etc.
If you play Dark Souls 1 as a Pyromancer and just run away and throw Fireballs at bosses then I think it's rather silly to tell people it's not a problem if someone who used a Longsword is upset because the boss was extending/ starting up combos after it read your input solely for the sake of screwing you.
Turning it into complete RNG and out of your hands whether you can even touch the boss or not.
Even if you watch a lot of the top tier players play they're still using a select few weapons and just run away and abuse the ai to sneak hits in and it often takes forever to kill them because they're essentially cheesing them in a way too even if it's not as blatant.
It kinda feels like a lot of the bosses were designed with the intent of putting in the parry system from Sekiro but they just never did.
The bosses were incredible on a visual level they sure were a spectacle, but they were some of the least fun in the series to actually fight.
The world design tho was incredible yeah, it's rly hard to impress me with that especially in open world games but Elden Ring did.
