Yeah, at best, the gameplay and visual fidelity will be nice, but I am not expecting much story wise. Really that can be said with anything made for 'modern audiences'.It's a plague upon many excellent IP's these days, it seems. It's not even necessarily reflective of what 'modern audiences' desire, either. If it fails to do well, though, I'm sure we'll see the usual gaslighting where 'gamers' as a whole are branded 'bigots' and other silly words.

Star Wars Squadrons was actually quite good I forgot about it until now, but mainly because EA abandoned it.
Granted I never actually played the story it just didn't interest me at all.
But the gameplay was a ton of fun I really wish they had expanded on it and added bigger maps.
It's one of the games that makes me wish I had more disk space so I could keep it installed and hop in every once in a while and play.
Playing Shin Megami Tensei V atm and I'm blown away. I was never a fan of the Persona series as I started with the much more mature/dark SMT as a kid so it stuck.
On that note, with Nintendo now no longer the only portable, I'm hoping they start to innovate more. Honestly I sort of don't want a Switch 2. What if Nintendo came out with a dedicated console for Nintendo titles ?
I would love a Gamecube 2.
I know that I need to curb my enthusiasm about KoTOR due to the "Modern Audience" tagline, still its gonna hurt. You'd think they'd look at other industries and learn. If you told me 10 years ago that manga would be beating comics as bad as they are now, I'd condemned it as heresy clearly the work of Chaos.

The dream for me would be Dragons Crown on PC, the gameplay would fit so easily too it'd be very easy to bring it over.
