"I thought that my invincible power would hold the world captive, leaving me in a freedom undisturbed. Thus night and day I worked at the chain with huge fires and cruel hard strokes. I finally opened up my copy of Demon's Souls Remake that I purchased when I had a confirmation email on my first attempted PS5 purchase(which was upended by an email 24 hours later saying my order was cancelled due to being accepted without a check for stock).
It's a pretty solid remake. Very high fidelity graphically. They missed the mark with the actual intro though, imo. The lady they got to voice act it just didn't have the same cadence or gravity in her voice, and the fire sound effect they used wasn't as intense.
Looking forward to Elden Ring. I've only been getting on XIV to cap tomes and raid, at least now that I've leveled all roles for the role quests and Sage to 80 for the Sage quests (Reaper 90 for Reaper quests but 90 due to pure enjoyment). It's not that it doesn't have my interest atm, it's just other things have more of it, and I've only got so much time, heh.
I'm hoping that live letter gives us some lore bombs and other things. But if not, oh well.
Other than that, with upcoming unemployment I'm planning on getting back in shape physically, and perhaps getting back on a day time schedule. Maybe finally be rid of my vitamin D issues. I take a supplement for it every day, but I think I could use some natural from the sun.

Sun? What's that?
I'm looking forward to the spring when the weather warms up a little and all the trees/flowers start blooming again. It's probably my favourite time of year alongside autumn since neither period is too hot or too cold.
It's a plague upon many excellent IP's these days, it seems. It's not even necessarily reflective of what 'modern audiences' desire, either. If it fails to do well, though, I'm sure we'll see the usual gaslighting where 'gamers' as a whole are branded 'bigots' and other silly words.
Honestly, at this point the only thing keeping me around is my house. I'm not enjoying the game as much as I once did and Endwalker very hastily wrapped up most of the story elements that did maintain my interest. So, for me, it's just a case of seeing if 6.1 is going to shake things up in a way that I like not just on a story front but also in terms of actual content.
Yeah, at best, the gameplay and visual fidelity will be nice, but I am not expecting much story wise. Really that can be said with anything made for 'modern audiences'.It's a plague upon many excellent IP's these days, it seems.
