Unfortunately I agree with you. Most of the remakes are so bad compared to the original nowadays. The only improvements are VFX and resolution lol. Story and Character wise they seem to downgrade a lot instead of improving from the original

It is J. Michael Straczynski. He is the writer and producer of the original series. So i have trust that he knows what he is doing.

Hope you get your wish. I have been so disappointed with so many of the remakes of my childhood series and movies that I am no longer optimistic lol.

Having the original writer and producer of the original helming the remake is a good sign though so hopefully he does a very good job. Babylon 5 is one of my brother's and cousin's fav sci fi shows. I caught glimpses of it which I liked as well so hopefully we can get a good remake since it is so rare now to see good sci fi tv series.

Hope they do more stargate series as well. Stargate Atlantis is still one of my all time fav sci fi tv series. The succeeding stargate series after it all bombed out sadly
