I don't regret buying both and would encourage others to do the same if they're able to but between the two of them I'd suggest getting the Nintendo Switch first and the PS5 later.

The Switch has the advantage of being able to, uh, switch between being entirely handheld and being connected to a TV screen and if it has more games that are appealing to you, then you'll get a lot of mileage out of it.

The PS5 does have some pretty impressive titles but it's notoriously difficult to get a hold of one in many places at the moment.
