I'm very pleased with it at least. I've paired it with an OLED screen and the games look fantastic. My PC could probably get better performance on some games but it's not enough of a difference to care frankly as the games look more than good enough on it for now, IMO. I mainly use that for more old school RPGs, MMOs and 4x/city sim games and work.
Only thing I'll say against it is if you have many games on at once, its storage runs out very fast... it's easy enough to get an SSD to upgrade it but it's extra cost. I don't know if I'd get it just for a singular exclusive but I assume there's other stuff you'd play on it.
I'm actually also looking forward to SoP. It's very goofy and almost like a parody FF but Jack is my kind of guy and I liked the combat system from the demo a lot, especially how they implemented WHM and BLM.

Late reply but in reference to the ps5...I’m looking to buy my first console and I’m debating between ps5 and Nintendo switch. I seem to like more games on the switch but I also want to play the whole kingdom hearts series, some past FF games and FF16 so I’m not sure which console to buy first.Only thing I'll say against it is if you have many games on at once, its storage runs out very fast... it's easy enough to get an SSD to upgrade it but it's extra cost. I suppose I could eventually get both but just wondering which one to invest in right now.
I don't regret buying both and would encourage others to do the same if they're able to but between the two of them I'd suggest getting the Nintendo Switch first and the PS5 later.Late reply but in reference to the ps5...I’m looking to buy my first console and I’m debating between ps5 and Nintendo switch. The Switch has the advantage of being able to, uh, switch between being entirely handheld and being connected to a TV screen and if it has more games that are appealing to you, then you'll get a lot of mileage out of it.
The PS5 does have some pretty impressive titles but it's notoriously difficult to get a hold of one in many places at the moment.
Unless there is some game you're really burning to get right now on the PS5, I'd agree with what Theodric and Kolsykol said. The Switch has a more mature library and there is always the possibility of PS5 revisions with more SSD space, or at the least the possibility of buying it with an SSD on offer, so between the two it's the one I'd put off until later.Late reply but in reference to the ps5...I’m looking to buy my first console and I’m debating between ps5 and Nintendo switch.
