Off Topic Discussion Megathread

I've wasted about 22 hours (so far) waiting for another Daivadipa spawn, and nothing. I wouldn't doubt it spawned soon after I logged off for bed. Not that I think the rewards warrant that sort of wait. I just want them to have them, and have it done. Also, I messed up and logged in hours too late to skip through the Christmas event on my alt (for the rewards), so it doesn't get any of those. What I get for always doing these last minute. I really should just delete that character at this point, but maybe I will want an alt.. someday (?)..

Getting tired of the game again - rather, I need something to do. I've done pretty much all the new content, aside from farming Zodiark. I don't do savage, and I'm not sure Island Sanctuary will hold my attention - as I also don't have crafters leveled. I don't really want to level crafters, or other battle classes. I have everything I could need leveled already to 90. Tank, healer, melee dps, both a physical and magical ranged DPS. Anything else is just fluff. No point leveling a SAM, since Reaper outclasses it, plus I like it better. The only thing I really dislike about reaper is the combined form cutting off racial features. Yeah, I could just keep leveling classes to 90 regardless, but that will just lead to proper burnout. Anyway, unfortunately, I burned myself out on many RPGs prior to Endwalker's EA launch. The next games I am looking forward to or may or may not want to buy release in February. So, not sure what I want to do when it comes to gaming right now.

Been doing more Gold Saucer, I am convinced this place sucks. Frankly, phone games are better, but I wouldn't mind collecting some more of the mounts, I suppose. Like, if SE is going to double down on casual content, it could at least be fun. I know some people like it (somehow), to each their own, I guess.
