Not every thread with a take people don't agree with is a troll thread, and not every thread you do agree with isn't. However, discussion can be had on a subject regardless, and I have been sick and tired of people labeling everything "troll thread" constantly regardless. EVEN IF it is a troll thread, don't post in it! It's that simple! Wow! Someone "necros" a post, you know what you can do? Not post in it! If people are so concerned about "necro" threads, then posting to explain it's a "necro" is just bumping said thread. You know what someone can do? They can check the date of posts prior to replying to something!

Honestly, even troll threads can be fun. I think this behavior springs from posters feeling like they constantly have to have that mic drip moment.

Cleared my first extreme since Hades! It was during a prog run, I doubt I even did that great, and I am pretty sure I forgot to actually eat food for that particular pull (have been progging for the past 4 and a half hours).. still it was a clear. Didn't win anything though. I guess I'll have to clear it several more times for the weapon. I tried some Zodiark last night, but I'll have to prog that at some point later. Luckily, I wasn't having to reprog over and over and over again, and was able to find parties with people who were at about the same point as me.

Not when it's the same thing over and over and over. Yeah, I bet some people think it's a mic drop moment, until 15 others post the exact same thing one after the other, and then continue to post in the thread about it.

Not when it's the same thing over and over and over. Yeah, I bet some people think it's a mic drop moment, until 15 others post the exact same thing one after the other, and then continue to post in the thread about it.

I found both trials quite easy, even though I didn't do well in all the clears I had (though my excuse is atrocious lag :^)), I thought honestly thought they'd be harder

you know why people do that? because it adds a post to their post count and releases some dopamine, thinking that they've done a great job by telling them off and that they showed everyone what a great person they are
but nah, gotta post basically the same post that 20 people did before you because their input is needed (and yes, I know it's a public forum and that everybody can post yadda yadda yadda, but surely whoever would respond that to my post can agree that it's almost as annoying as the trolls themselves, right?)

I did the best with the first prog group I was with, until that one disbanded. This newer group took a couple tries, and I didn't think we were even going to get a clear when we did. I might join some other late prog parties and practice it a bit more. It didn't seem too bad, and people seemed to get it better than when I remember doing the first three ShB extremes.

I guess it does seem that way. To me, it's just redundant and makes me roll my eyes. Many have gotten banned for doing similar anyway. I'd say it's more annoying than seeing tons of the same troll posts.
