I don't think I will ever understand how they do quality control over at SE. They preview reaper with an Au Ra - a tailed race - and their job gear, which looks fairly decent.. has a cape. So, their tail just clips through it. Like, what? For that matter, a few other job sets have capes, now I doubt I will use many of these, but do they realize they have tailed races in their game? Like, this is beyond au ra horn clipping, because their most popular race, as far as I can tell, is/was miqo'te.. another tailed race. I'd hazard a guess, and say most people who are actively playing this game are playing a tailed race, and if not most, quite a large amount. This is ridiculous, like, at least, couldn't they do something for tailed races when it's iconic job gear?

As for Endwalker, I'll avoid direct spoilers but put in a spoiler tab anyway:

My feelings are very mixed. A lot of my enthusiasm for the story has sort of just fizzled out, I suppose. I thought that some parts were good, but other parts felt very poorly paced.

The original plan was to end the current story arc in 7.0 rather 6.0 and I feel as though it would have done quite a few characters and factions more justice for that to have been the case.

I've always been more of a 'story guy' but I guess the recent tone and style of storytelling lately just isn't the same as what originally drew me in back in the days of ARR and HW. Though maybe I'm weird, since I liked ARR and apparently that's unusual.

I really hope we get a breather and go back to being a humble adventurer for a while. A powerful one, sure, but I want something more grounded for a while.

I like Reaper a lot, a least. It feels very fun to play - and I haven't even got it to the level cap yet.

I never actually believed there was a genre like that, ahah... thought Dorian Electra's Edgelord might've been the only thing closely resembling something of that genre. The more you know!
