In the realm of fiction, I've decided to do Ark Angels in FFXI: Rise of the Zilart. In the past I've only ever done Divine Might, which is the optional 5 v 18 version where you get an earring reward. You can do it later, but in the past I was always either overleveled, or it was my first time and I'd been told I needed to do Divine Might otherwise I couldn't do it later(not true). This just means fighting the Ark Angels one at a time.

It's quite funny though, understanding their lore this time around. They are crystalline warriors made from the five mothercrystals' energies. They mutated after the Kuluu blew up the northern ark. Calling them Ark Angels is sort of a play on words, since the Arks(Crags) were what they originally guarded. When I was younger I didn't understand it. Anything I didn't immediately understand in a story I'd just say to myself, "Details not important" and continue onwards. Heh, oh how I've changed.
