Got that Pathfinder Kingmaker* game from the Steam sale. Don't think I'll actually be able to play it for a couple months (minimum), but that's what these sales are for.. getting things you might play at some point. With about a week left or so until EW, that definitely isn't enough time to play something lengthy. Really what I should be doing is finishing up this moogle event, but I have still been putting that off. I am not really looking forward to trying to do it last minute, but hey, I pretty much don't do anything until the last minute.

These are absolutely gorgeous decorations! They kind of remind me of NYC's Macy's - very bright and beautiful and elegant. I'd be in a festive mood too!

Yeah, it was a great experience! I would have taken more photographs of the exterior decorations but it was very cold. It even snowed for a couple of minutes at one point.

Which is likely a sign that I need to start wearing a hat and gloves whenever I go out anywhere for the next few months.

Pathfinder Kingmaker is a really great game.
It definitely has issues the combat can feel like it's either too easy or too hard the difficulty is rly inconsistent.
But overall it's still an incredible RPG.

The game is good for its combat and gameplay aspects, but I wasn't that impressed by the plot or setting. Much preferred Pillars of Eternity for that, or even the older D&D CRPGs. I'm eagerly awaiting Baldur's Gate 3, even if it's essentially a re-skinned D:OS2 (a game I really loved) - although I am basing that on what I've heard about it as I don't want to touch the game while it's in early access.
