I should probably figure out what job I want to start with in Endwalker. Maybe a tank. There's sure to be plenty of DPS and heals for a while with everyone rushing to level the new jobs.

If your goal is faster queues I would probably go with a tank. Everyone, their mothers and their pet goats will be wanting to try Reaper and Sage for a few weeks.
I always go through the MSQ's as a tank, personally. Trusts are a thing now, granted, but trials can be lengthy roadblocks if queuing as a DPS.
I plan to make Reaper into my main, though only once I'm done with the MSQ's. The time it would take to get Reaper from 70 to 80 so I could start the 6.0 MSQ's would cut into the time spend just soaking up the new expansion's zones and story. I'd also rather avoid spoilers, so not getting side-tracked early on ensures that I can focus on completing the MSQ's.
I‘m still struggling deciding wether to go with Sage first (planing on maining in the future) day of the expansion or stick with scholar for the story. I‘m really scared of spoilers, and it seems like I need to avoid social media like the pest when choosing the first option.I plan to make Reaper into my main, though only once I'm done with the MSQ's. Yeah, I predict it'll take me about a week to get through the MSQ's assuming that there aren't any server issues to deal with. I'll likely avoid the forums, Twitter and Discord until I'm done, though.I‘m still struggling deciding wether to go with Sage first (planing on maining in the future) day of the expansion or stick with scholar for the story. When the game's story becomes self-aware:
Heck, you'll probably have to turn off your in-game chat too. I don't doubt people will be spoiling it in there either intentionally or unintentionally.

Yeah, I usually move the say, shout and yell channels over to a different tab during a major patch or expansion launch.
Yep, I'm planning to go into full lockdown mode and I've made sure everyone in my FC is aware that no spoilers should go in FC chat, keep it all to the spoiler channel on our discord - and spoiler cover MSQ stuff in specific, just to be double triple safe. I'll be doing MSQ first, then picking up Reaper on my alt to try out. Eventually, I'll get around to Sage on my second bun boy... December's gonna be a busy month for me, and not just because of retail work. ; v;
I also need to finish MSQ asap in part due to our RP story arc needing to be planned out for next year, as it's meant to coincide with much of the world happenings during EW. Here's hoping I won't flub too badly on strapping into the DM seat for the first time.
The delay did provide me some time to finish up a couple things on my WoL before release, at least, as well as get a couple extra weeks to enjoy SMTV!
