    Even though we're supposed to search for old threads as to not spam the forum with the same topic over and over, the search function on the forum is pretty bad. That's my opinion anyway. Sometimes you have to dig through pages just to find anything relevant to what you searched for, and even if you do find a thread that is the topic you want to create, it's so old that people will accuse you of necroing to troll/necroing to necro etc.

    Basically, not looking, and saying that you couldn't find it in a timely manner is the path of least resistance.

    yeah, it's a shame the forum software is pretty archaic and will prob never be changed, having PMs would be pretty swell sometimes if you want to continue a discussion but not do it in an unrelated thread
    what I meant or implied was forum sliding, though, basically nonsensical threads being created to 'pollute' the board in addition to the troll threads already being created

    also, and the reason for my post, it's funny to see a certain poster only show up when the other one has either hit their daily post limit or probably gotten banned, that they type exactly the same despite supposedly being two different people is just a coincidence
