Because it's the internet and it's not going to agree with you. Just accept the chaos.And why is that a problem unless you turn it into a problem deliberately yourself?
Again people can keep saying that it's being '' flooded '' but it's objectively not true if you look yourself.
There is no rule against art, so why is it any different than someone posting a meme?
If anything I'd say that people posting memes adds less value overall but that's also a matter of opinion to some extent, personally I don't care about them at all and find them to be kinda boring most of the time.
But I don't sit around downvoting them and derailing the comments and being an asshole towards people because of it.
The reason why people would rather post their art on the main sub is quite self-evident.
And the notion that it doesn't belong there is completely arbitrary and clearly not true since it's allowed and people at large don't have a problem with it.
So why should a vocal minority that are just extremely loud be allowed to push it off.
