Because sometimes I just get carried away lol. Ill probably do it on smaller scales every week, this week was just... wild ahah.

I'm very excited that the patch is tuesday! Since it didn't take too long we won't have to wait too long to have more content!

But at the same time... we'll have a really long content drought! I really hope zadnor is good enough as content, to tide us over all of this time! I like how after max rank there we will be able to get more power, making us spend more time there, and making delubrum reginae savage easier since we'll be stronger. I still want to get the cerberus mount!

I also really hope that the final step of the relic looks amazing! If it does, I'll spend a lot of time making relics for my jobs!

Maybe the drought will be so intense that I'll have to play other games... I haven't done that in a good while. I still want to play nier replicant + automata, and I really want to play the mass effect trilogy as well!

Im never really worried about content draught. Im autistic and right now Im hyper-fixated on this as it’s my special interest game. My hyper fixations typically last years (and never really go away, they just linger in the background). Bleach lasted 3 years, Hetalia lasted 5, Homestuck lasted 5 and is only JUST dropping off, and FFXIV has only lasted about... 6 months? Thus far?

So if I run out of content to do, Ill probably do it all on a new character, either figuring out new ways to level, delving deeper into lore, etc etc.

It'll be ok to take a break during the patch lull. Also ok to start alts, and keep playing if there's nothing else you want to do. That's what I usually do. But I think this time around I'm going to help sprouts/try to run stuff with Anonymoose as much as possible, keep him interested in playing maybe.

A sprout was following me around cause of my Berserker armor cosplay attempt, so I recruited him, and gave him some gil. Made him some weapons. Set him on the path forward in the game.

Moose, I can't like, will into existence more time for him to play. Busy guy. Got to play with him the other day though, turns out we have similar tastes in comedy. Which means we're in for some Big Trouble.

Yeah, I'm like that as well, I get what you mean. I had an interest in The Sims that lasted the longest... many many years, then it changed to neopets, that lasted 2 years I think. Now since I started playing FFXIV in 2018 It's become my main interest, I live and breathe this game... I always find something to do, even when there is a drought. Sometimes I think I should do other stuff, like watching more series or anime, or playing other games, but this game always pulls me in, I find it more entretaining than other stuff.

Yeah, I'm like that as well, I get what you mean. I had an interest in The Sims that lasted the longest... many many years, then it changed to neopets, that lasted 2 years I think. Now since I started playing FFXIV in 2018 It's become my main interest, I live and breathe this game... I always find something to do, even when there is a drought. Sometimes I think I should do other stuff, like watching more series or anime, or playing other games, but this game always pulls me in, I find it more entretaining than other stuff.

Ive actually on the side been learning how to make a vtuber model! That way I can comfortably stream playing the game without annoying things like showing my face (especially since 9 times out of 10 im a wreck) and thats been what I do whenever i feel burned out for a day. But ultimately... everything I do revolves around the game nowadays lol.

Oooh! is Anonymoose fun to play with? Ive always found his threads to be well made and well worded and I imagine he’s probably similar in game?

He's a real swell guy! I got to do one set of roulettes with him, and he was a trooper. Kept up just fine, had some golden commentary here and there when we ran into funny characters. He's just very busy. Which is understandable. Very down to earth. I like him!
