Every time the servers go down, there is a chance they may never go up again.

I currently have my character in the Rising Stones, so if this is the end of FFXIV, at least my character is where she wants to be.

I left X'kaia in Limsa, she's a social butterfly and having her last act be "come to me if you need money!" just felt... right. But tomorrow we'll be back in action and I won't have to think about her last act being... her last act.

In my teen years, my first response would've been to go to a supermarket and cook/eat all the food I want. Now in my thirties, I legit can't come up with an answer. And that, makes me really sad.

I'm in my 20s and I can't think of it either. Would I collapse in on myself? Would I go to family or isolate? Would I loot or would I try to find some semblance of order? I genuinely don't know.

I'd definitely make sure to stay with my daughter and comfort her. If there's nothing I can do, at least I can take off the pressure from people close to me. Defend them too of course, that's the kind of man I'd like to be in a final day scenario.

As humans, we're always in a final days scenario as individuals. Any breath could be your last. It's the human condition.

Now, to answer the actual question posed... I'd just cling to the woman I love, and try to avoid areas where mass hysteria is going down. If we were the only ones to know, then I would make sure to go eat at my favorite Chinese restaurant, and maybe visit my mom's grave. Let her know I'll be seeing her soon.

Mine sleeps and dreams during maintenance. He logged out in the Royal Menagerie Gardens, so can walk around, splash in the water, and smell the flowers in his dreams. That garden is what Goblet should have been. Much more green with the water.
