GF been asking me to play Minecraft with her again the past few days. I decided it'd be worth a go, because there's so much you can while away the hours with in that game, the only real limit is your imagination/knowledge of the crafting recipes.

Looked up the purpose of Obsidian, and built my first Nether portal. Got us some Warped Wood doors. Died a whole ton in that hell scape. Damn, flying giant white octopus babies that shoot giant cannonball firebombs at you that can just spawn anywhere in there at any time. And boatloads of discount orcs dubbed Piglins.

My GF, thus far, refuses to enter The Nether with me. I suppose I'll convince her to enter whenever she feels like getting her sisters in on playing with us, since they're all huge Minecraft fans.

I always feel like an old fogey when I'm in the room with all of them. They're all in their mid 20s, but they seem so young to me, in spite of only being 6 years older. Which coincidentally was the same age gap my own parents had. Hmm...
