Cleared my first extreme since Hades! It was during a prog run, I doubt I even did that great, and I am pretty sure I forgot to actually eat food for that particular pull (have been progging for the past 4 and a half hours).. still it was a clear. Didn't win anything though. I guess I'll have to clear it several more times for the weapon. I tried some Zodiark last night, but I'll have to prog that at some point later. Luckily, I wasn't having to reprog over and over and over again, and was able to find parties with people who were at about the same point as me.

Not when it's the same thing over and over and over. Yeah, I bet some people think it's a mic drop moment, until 15 others post the exact same thing one after the other, and then continue to post in the thread about it.

I found both trials quite easy, even though I didn't do well in all the clears I had (though my excuse is atrocious lag :^)), I thought honestly thought they'd be harder

you know why people do that? because it adds a post to their post count and releases some dopamine, thinking that they've done a great job by telling them off and that they showed everyone what a great person they are
but nah, gotta post basically the same post that 20 people did before you because their input is needed (and yes, I know it's a public forum and that everybody can post yadda yadda yadda, but surely whoever would respond that to my post can agree that it's almost as annoying as the trolls themselves, right?)

I did the best with the first prog group I was with, until that one disbanded. This newer group took a couple tries, and I didn't think we were even going to get a clear when we did. I might join some other late prog parties and practice it a bit more. It didn't seem too bad, and people seemed to get it better than when I remember doing the first three ShB extremes.

I guess it does seem that way. To me, it's just redundant and makes me roll my eyes. Many have gotten banned for doing similar anyway. I'd say it's more annoying than seeing tons of the same troll posts.

Participated in a Secret Santa at a Gundam shop. Got a spider tank with a hilariously disproportionate cannon. Solid kit, though.

I remarked on this to an FC mate early on. SE spoiled their own show by hyping Ishgard housing so much and so early. If they had said something along the lines of "A new housing zone will be coming with 6.1. It's already fully developed and waiting for the proper time to release." would have left things a lot more open to (mis)interpretation. The new zone could easily have been on the moon or a potential new world after the current was destroyed. Nope, unfortunately we got "Wow, we spent a boatload of effort making this new housing zone in Ishgard. By the way, that means you're going to save the world and live happily ever after, sorry for spoiling the story!".

Haven't seen it. As for the models, looking on Big Bad Toy Store, there are a bunch of spider tanks with different weapons and a kit of who I assume is the female lead.

So I... uhh.. accidentally got a clear for Zodiark EX. I mean that literally. I was just doing some Hydaelyn Ex parties, clear parties, or progs, whatever... I had been through a few groups at this point, when I clicked to join another prog that just so happened to be for Zodiark ex.. I informed them at the start, "I think I joined the wrong extreme", after realizing where I was upon entering. Apparently, they were fine with it, and we just went anyway. I had literally no clue what was going on. Pretty much completely blind. I was just following people around, and after the second attempt, more of just following people around (A LOT), we got a clear! I did get clipped a few times, and had to get revived. Unfortunately. I mean, considering I literally didn't know what was happening, or what was going to happen. It wasn't that bad. I apologized afterwards.. twice.

Story's done, raid's done, and I'm back to work. More time for the forum!

I saw Sturm Churro a few times while flitting about during Endwalkers. That's the first time other than befriending Moose that I've really even seen someone from the forum in game lol.

Working on the combat role quests currently. I just have Ranged and Healer left. My MCH hit 87 last night before holiday family stuff and work. So far my favorite role quest has been the melee DPS one. I've done that, tank, and caster.

Favorite segment of the story was Thavnair Part 2: Frenetic Boogaloo. It had some teeth and bite to it. The rest was sorta being clubbed over the head with fan service and handwaving for the protagonists. It made a ton of people happy, I'm sure. I enjoyed it, and don't have a problem with the happy ending, but I never felt like the world was at stake in a story about the world being at stake. My LP for it is going up very very slowly, though it's not like I'm a pro and have viewership so lol(haven't had a lot of recording time & also have had technical difficulties). I still enjoy cataloguing a playthrough though.

I was pretty sick the whole time I took off for Endwalker, and spent most of it intermittently passing out with a high fever sweating through my clothes. Got to do the final trial with Moose though, yeehaw! Family is visiting now, and my oldest brother is in doing the MSQ still. He's almost at the end, and it's been neat watching him go through it too.

He inadvertently made a hilarious joke by referring to Meteion as Melatonin upon his arrival in Elpis. Hehe.
