I hope his chat isn't too negative about it, I've heard from streamers before say that the chat just immediately turned ultra negative constantly as soon as they got to Stormblood.

I did the thing today. It was the definition of an anti-climax.

If I had the gumption I'd dub over it with Raizen Controlled Yusuke's, "Do you still think challenging me is some great opportunity for you?"

I mean, I didn't Soul Trap him, so he does get to go to Sovngarde, I guess. I thought the battle would take more than two hits... If I'd known he'd be less formidable than a dragon, then I would have just soul trapped him, and put him into my armor.

Cleaning out my glamour dresser. Mostly tossing a whole pile of 80 weathered gear, since the dyeable versions coming from a trial means the weathered stuff is pointless to keep. Between that, some quest rewards that I can get back from the calamity salvager if I really want them, and some stuff that I'll just plain never use anyway (why did I have so many Copied Factory gloves when most of them just use the same model as the 2B gloves anyway?), I'm down to less than 250 pieces.

'' Ronka '' is an unfortunate name, it's close to '' runka '' which means masturbate in Swedish.
And with the Nordic accents of Viera it becomes worse lol.
It sounds even closer.
While playing NG+ in Shadowbringers it sounds like everyone's talking about masturbation.

I was wondering if it was intentional considering how they went out of their way to write in stuff like '' thal's balls '' xD...
But apparently it's a reference to an older FF game?
It becomes even more of an awkward coincidence when you've got stuff like '' Serpent of Ronka '' with the description talking about its '' wobbly girth ''.

I feel like I am going insane about this lol it keeps adding up.

Yeah, it's from FFV. In the first translation, a fan translation, they romanized it as, "Lonka." That was my first experience with FFV, and the one that stuck in my memory. So when Ronka showed up in XIV, at first I thought it was brand new until someone on the forum mentioned it.

They were a highly advanced civilization, the first in Bartz's world to make machines to tap into their crystal's power. Their crystal was the Earth Crystal, but using its power they were somehow able to propel an entire city into the sky. They bound a flying serpent to their crystal, that would automatically revive once using the crystal's power, to guard it.

In the end, they discovered what they were doing was a danger to the crystal and world, so they brought their city down, and buried it underground, at the far end of a large desert, cradled in a small valley completely surrounded by insurmountable mountains.
