Skyrim's one of those games that I'll probably dust off again eventually. Though Endwalker will naturally steal most of my attention for the foreseeable future where gaming is concerned. There's a few releases in 2022 that I'll looking forward to playing in the downtime, however. Namely Dying Light 2, Strangers of Paradise, Project Triangle Strategy and Elden Ring.
Speaking of Skyrim, apparently my rig is showing its age with all the 8k landscape texture mods. Never thought I'd need to go with more than 16 gig of ram.
honestly I can't believe I'm saying this but I'd honestly rather have no moderation than what ever the heck we have right now, where clear troll threads, laden with insults, racism and so on go on for what feels like 100s of pages and meanwhile, a genuine discussion about the community gets removed without a peep from the moderators, even though not a single post broke a damn fricking rule
to quote a thread title, genuinely baffling behaviour that makes no sense or rhyme
meanwhile, people get banned for harmless shoot like au ra groomer jokes, defending themselves from a genuinely mentally ill person that's accusing them of stalking because they said "you should get help" or discussing someone's FC brigading a thread with likes and reports against anyone who speaks up against the FC member while people who are more disruptive to the forum are allowed to do so with glee because they skirt around the rules with their toxicity due to their experience with it
fully expecting to get another warning and/or vacation for this post because calling out bad moderation is against the rules as well, but seriously, it's a damn joke
I am jonesing for Elden Ring, and trying to avoid all of the Youtubers and streamers that got in on the network test. Still have to / want to get a PS5 for it though. Not sure how I'm going to manage that without spending an arm and a leg (and I don't even got an auto mail friend to fix me up after).Skyrim's one of those games that I'll probably dust off again eventually. I'm also looking forward to Triangle Strategy. Never did finish Octopath Traveler though.

"I thought that my invincible power would hold the world captive, leaving me in a freedom undisturbed. Thus night and day I worked at the chain with huge fires and cruel hard strokes. When at last the work was done and the links were complete and unbreakable, I found that it held me in its grip." - Rabindranath Tagore

Finally got my favorite demon back at my side after a couple days just grinding levels and macca out. Now to figure out what essences I'll need to grind for in order to give him a decent Almighty build. >>
One little thing I do enjoy for SMTV is the essence fusion system. Makes it slightly easier to build your demons how you want them, without having to go through a 6-stage fusion process for specific inheritances. That's still fun to do too, tbf, but I like having a secondary option that's more time-gated than money-gated.
Mine came in yesterday too! I spent a good amount of time looking through it with the Mrs. and think I might use the recipes in it to make Thanksgiving dinner. There are some really good looking recipes in there.
